{"id":857,"date":"2014-03-25T17:03:00","date_gmt":"2014-03-25T17:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devonshanorphotography.com\/?p=857"},"modified":"2014-03-25T17:03:00","modified_gmt":"2014-03-25T17:03:00","slug":"quick-wedding-virginia-beach-photographer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devonshanorphotography.com\/blog\/quick-wedding-virginia-beach-photographer\/","title":{"rendered":"Quick Wedding  |  Virginia Beach Photographer"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>I love my church,<a href=\"www.comgetfree.org\"> Freedom Fellowship<\/a>. \u00a0It&#8217;s a pretty amazing place. \u00a0We love God and we love each other. \u00a0A few years back, we realized that both within our church and outside, there were so many couples who wanted to get married but were choosing not to due to costs associated with a wedding. \u00a0Sure, they could run down to the justice of the peace, but every little girl dreams of the white dress, the church, the flowers, the cakes, etc.<\/h2>\n<h2>As a church we decided to offer free weddings once a year. Yes, you read that right&#8230;free! \u00a0Everything is free: the flowers, the cake, the church, the pastor, the reception, the food and yes, even the photography. \u00a0The only thing we don&#8217;t provide is the groom and the dress! \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/h2>\n<h2>I have been blessed to be a part of our &#8220;Free Wedding Day&#8221; ever since we began them four years ago. \u00a0This year, I was especially excited to be photographing one of the weddings as the groom&#8217;s family have been close friends for years! \u00a0(In fact, much of the family celebrated Thanksgiving with us last year!)<\/h2>\n<h2>Tawnya made a beautiful bride and Dakota, a very handsome groom. \u00a0Everyone had a great time as this family knows how to turn it up!<\/h2>\n<h2>We danced and laughed, two women got in a fight over the bouquet (seriously, they ripped it in half!) and there was a lot of awesome dance moves on the dance floor!
