Wilson Baby number two is on her way!!!! I LOVE this family! Latoya and Mark’s son, Mark Jr., was one of the first newborns I ever photographed. I was over the moon when I heard they were expecting baby number two! We had such a wonderful time exploring the woods at First Landing State Park, And oh my goodness, did they make my job easy! They are still so in love and so gorgeous! Little Mark is a heartbreaker and I can’t wait to photograph little Malaya soon!

I first photographed Levi and Michelle about three years ago when they first moved to Virginia Beach. We’ve been fast friends ever since and have worked together many times. I have seen the birth of their last daughter, Maddie, and am SO excited to be helping them welcome Baby Willow to the family as well! We went to Fort Story in Virginia Beach for their Maternity Session and had a wonderful time celebrating their last (are you guys SURE?) pregnancy to complete their family of seven…that’s five munchkins!
It has been a difficult year for them so this time of celebrating new life was so much fun! We laughed, Michelle got a little wet, and we took some amazing portraits. Enjoy and celebrate with us as we get ready to welcome Baby Willow!

I’d love for you to meet Pamela and Kevin Bird: AKA Mama Bird and Daddy Bird! They are so excited to welcome their new baby bird: Declan. (EEK!!! Can their last name get ANY more adorable for a maternity session!!!)
We played with the Bird theme throughout the shoot- Mama bird hiding in the bushes, caring for her baby!
Family portrait in a tree! (Big sister Kaylee’s idea!)
And lots more…
Kaylee was such a joy to have on the shoot, she helped with some cute ideas and assisted me with lighting when I needed it! She is SO EXCITED to be a big sister!!
All in all we just had a blast! It was chilly but so very pretty out. I loved spending time with the Bird family and cannot wait to meet baby Declan. Don’t fret, you’ll get to be a part too! They have signed up for the Baby’s First Year Plan… which means I’ll be photographing (and sharing with you!) baby Declan grow through his first year of life!

I was so blessed a few months back, when out of the blue I got a message from my friend Tricia saying she was pregnant! I had no idea and was so excited about her becoming a mommy!!! I was honored to photograph Tricia for her maternity portraits and while it was freezing and windy, we captured some amazing portraits of her lovingly waiting on her little man!!
In January, we got to meet little Elijah for the first time! Oh my goodness, did he steal my heart at his newborn session!!! He is so adorable and I loved getting to know him. Can’t wait to see him grow up! Great job, Tricia… you did good! <3 <3 <3

I was so excited last week to photograph Jessica at her Gender Reveal baby shower! She has an adorable little girl name and a beauitful step daughter, so everyone was really hoping for a little boy to add to the family!
The cake was ADORABLE and was done by Marvella of Marvelous Creations in Suffolk.. (757.754.4099) It DID slide around a little in the car on the way to the party (Jessica was letting her Fast and Furious out I think!) but was still pretty darn amazing and tasted great!
